Cabanas no Rio is a venture of the architect Manuel Aires Mateus, to recuperate two previous fishing huts. The huts have been “planted” alongside the banking companies of the river and have a modest pontoon more than the h2o, with gorgeous sights of the bordering mother nature of Sado, Portugal. Built-in in the normal reserve of the river Sado, property to a wonderful wildlife this kind of as flamingos, storks and dolphins. It is a single of the greatest areas in Portugal for chicken viewing.
In the 1st cabin is the bed room with a rest room. The shower has the particularity of becoming in a position to be employed the two outdoor and indoor.
In the 2nd cabin is the residing place, it has a modest kitchen area geared up to put together straightforward foods. A quite secluded and bespoke knowledge certainly. Again to principles in a quite concious way.
The huts have been meticulously reimaniged – all fashioned from recycled timber.
